APICS is the leading professional association for supply chain and operations management and the premier provider of research, education and certification programs that elevate supply chain excellence, innovation and resilience. The Michiana Chapter of APICS, formed in 1961, has been serving the education, networking and professional needs of our members and interested busineeses of Northern Indiana, and extreme Southwestern Michigan regarding the field of Operations Management. We are a Platinum Certified APICS Chapter and have received Gold performance evaluations since 1985 and Platinum since 1989.  The evaluation program recognizes service excellence, using a peer-to-peer evaluation against a set of criteria that have a direct and positive impact on a chapter's performance. 

The chapter typically conducts meetings in the South Bend, IN area on the second Tuesdays of the month from September through May. Plant tours when offered are also offered in the coverage area.

Since 1961, APICS Michiana has existed to deliver on the APICS promise, and continues to do so today enabling its members in Advancing Productivity, Innovation and Competitive Success personally and professionally in the community and for area businesses. Our programs bring topical speakers to our membership in an evening event supporting networking and exchanges of ideas to improve the operations of those who seek new thoughts and leadership ideas.
