The APICS Advantage

Supply chain and operations management is one of the fastest growing professions globally, creating great demand for top notch, highly competent professionals. APICS research, education and certification advances supply chain professionals to excel in the profession and become the leaders who will transform supply chain organizations for peak performance.  Your APICS Local Channel Partner Organization is here to create exciting possibilities for current and future supply chain leaders to deliver, innovate and impact our world.

You may recall that APICS announced a membership dues increase earlier this year, originally scheduled to take effect on September 1, 2017. After much consideration, we’ve decided to put the dues increase on hold through the end of the year as we focus on adding value to APICS membership.

One of our core initiatives is to add new benefits and enhance existing ones. As further progress toward that initiative, we’re excited to announce the following exclusive new benefits and enhancements for APICS members:

Interactive SCORmark site benchmarking reports

Exclusive access to the Digital Library

Exclusive access to all frameworks

Free digital access to all certification ECMs

Job board enhancement

APICS members get exclusive access to new job posts four days prior to non-members

In the resume bank, the APICS logo is highlighted on APICS member resumes for prospective employers

All job seekers can upload their resumes via LinkedIn

We’ve created a new page where members can quickly and easily access all their APICS member benefits. Go to My APICS, click “My Quick Links,” and then click “Member Benefits.”

Why China Won’t Own Next-generation Manufacturing

China  is slowing down.  Its rapid growth and world force domination is declining.  The attraction for American manufacturers is gone due to rising salaries, labor unrest, environmental devastation and intellectual property theft.  American manufacturers leveraging technology level the playing field and with the elimination of significant transportation delays, it will be increasingly difficult for China rise to a dominant low cost manufacturing position.
